Job Responsibilities: - Manage a team of 6 engineers (ML engineers, MLOps, and backend developers) focused on AI-powered chatbots. - Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team. - Drive engineering priorities, budgets, roadmaps, and goals. - Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, and design teams. - Continuously improve team productivity, code quality, and velocity. Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience managing data scientists or ML engineers. - Strong understanding of conversational AI and NLP. - Proven track record of shipping machine learning products. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Skills: - Proficiency in Japanese (business/native level). - Experience with chatbots, AI, marketing, and SaaS products.
